On October 19, 2023, the inaugural China Business School E20 Alliance Exchange was successfully held at the International Institute of Finance, themed "Digital Transformation and Technological Innovation." Over forty directors from EE centers and EDP programs, as well as project leaders from universities such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xi'an Jiaotong University and CKGSB gathered to discuss business education in the digital age. Keynote speeches were given by Qiang YE, Dean of the International Institute of Finance, Tinglun SONG, Assistant to the General Manager and Deputy Director of the R&D Institute of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., Guibin ZHENG, Chief Information Officer of Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd., Yufeng ZOU, a member of the Management Committee, and founding chairman of the China E20 Alliance, Dayong ZHOU, and Rui WANG, Vice President of Antelope Industrial Internet Co., Ltd. and a seasoned expert in artificial intelligence and big data. The closing speech was delivered by Jie ZHANG, a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering and a distinguished professor.

Professor Chuang CHEN, the rotating chairman of the China Business School E20 Alliance and Director of the EDP Center at the School of Management, Xiamen University, delivered the opening speech. He expressed gratitude for creating the exchange platform and emphasized the need to evolve beyond a simple replication of past academic models to develop teaching that better fits the needs of Chinese management. He called on the E20 Alliance to set an example, leading the way in driving changes in business schools, and to make more beneficial explorations for the development of executive education in China.

Qiang YE and Yufeng ZOU, respectively, delivered keynote speeches titled "Management Innovation and Talent Cultivation in the Digital Age" and "Technological Innovation and the Construction." They discussed the development and challenges of "management and innovation" in the context of digitalization and shared insights on the school's explorations in addressing the common issues of scientific research achievements transformation under the backdrop of digitalization. Tinglun SONG and Guibing ZHENG shared the transformations their companies have made in response to digitalization with the themes "Chery Automobile's Industrial Evolution and Innovation System" and "Sungrow's Digital Transformation." Dayong ZHOU introduced the resources to build a science and innovation ecosystem under the title "How to Create an Innovation Ecosystem that Empowers the Growth of Science and Innovation Enterprises?" Rui WANG discussed the digital transformation of enterprises from the perspective of large-scale models in his report "Industrial Large-scale Model: The 'Core Engine' for Promoting the Intelligent Transformation of Industry," sharing the work that can be done for the intelligent upgrade of the manufacturing industry.

At the end of the exchange, Jie ZHANG, a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, returned to deliver the closing speech. Based on the differences in the growth of entrepreneurs between the East and the West, he believes that the explorations will "motivate more science and engineering students to possess the qualities of excellent entrepreneurs and give them more opportunities to become outstanding entrepreneurs in the future." He also pointed out that "technology is only a part of life," and in the face of evolving technology, humans must continue to learn and "evolve to a new stage to better survive in the upcoming era of artificial intelligence."
